Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Director of Right of Way to refine and oversee a WBG right of way program. The role reports to the Planning Program Director and collaborates with HDR's Right of Way Director to align activities with program goals.

The Director will shape the program to raise HDR’s market penetration, lead growth strategies, and integrate real estate solutions for clients and projects, while regularly communicating value to clients and guiding project management and staffing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• For Business Class leadership roles... professional or Architecture/Engineering registration and related technical experience.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts.
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Technical focal point for the WBG to deliver Right of Way services and create alliances within the WBG.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to address market opportunities and drive growth geographically and by market sector.
• Recruitment, mentoring and alignment of right of way staff to meet client needs, and ensure high quality deliverables.
