Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Right of Way Director to refine and implement a comprehensive Right of Way program. The role reports to the Planning Program Director and partners with HDR's Right of Way leadership to elevate technical excellence and market penetration.

The position involves coordinating with market sector leaders, technical staff, and clients to integrate acquisition and real estate solutions. Travel is expected at ~20% and location is flexible within HDR's U.S. footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration for design leadership roles in architecture/engineering.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Collaborative with business class directors, operations managers and marketing managers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical focal point for the WBG to deliver Right of Way services and build alliances within HDR.
• Support Market Sector Directors in strategic growth and client relationships; drive geographies and service areas expansion.
• Recruit, mentor and align Right of Way staff to meet client needs and ensure quality outcomes.
