Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician to provide operational support in water damage mitigation in Orlando, FL. You will pump and extract water, perform mold remediation, move and set contents, and operate specialized equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include following MSDS protocols, inspecting vehicles daily, managing containment systems, and assisting with system installations like Injectidry and Octi-Dry. Travel at times and adherence to BELFOR standards are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader.
• Follow MSDS protocols for products used.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR damage processes and equipment.
• Under supervision, use extraction equipment and drying systems.
• Build containment systems using Neg Air and HEPA vacuum.
• Use cleaning and disinfection methods for debris removal.
• Protect client belongings during operations.
• Install Injectidry, Directed-In and Octi-Dry systems as required.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Travel at night or on weekends as needed.
• Attend BELFOR security training and operations.
