Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician in Ocala, FL to support mitigation efforts for clients. You will pump and extract water, assist with mold remediation, move and re-set contents, and operate specialized equipment under supervision.

Role requires safety awareness, MSDS protocol knowledge, and readiness to travel or work nights/weekends when required. Strong customer service helps protect client property.

Qualifications

• Experience with water pumping and mold remediation is preferred.
• Ability to operate and understand various pump systems.
• Valid driver eligibility per BELFOR policy.
• Strong sense of urgency, professional demeanor, and work ethic.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment and vehicles.
• Demonstrate proper use of BELFOR water extraction and drying systems.
• Build containment systems using appropriate equipment.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions and remove debris properly.
• Remove vapor barriers and install drying systems as directed.
• Follow BELFOR standards to protect client property.
• Maintain accurate time and equipment usage records.
• Attend safety training and operations as required.
