Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a field technician to support water damage mitigation efforts in Orlando, FL. You will pump and extract water, perform mold removal, reposition contents, and set drying equipment under supervision using specialized BELFOR gear.

Responsibilities include following MSDS protocols, daily vehicle inspections, and safe operation of extraction and containment systems to protect client property.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Demonstrate mastery of BELFOR damage procedures and equipment use.
• Under supervision, operate extraction units, scrapers and meters.
• Build containment systems using Neg Air and HEPA equipment.
• Use cleaning/disinfecting solutions and debris removal techniques in confined areas.
• Lift and move client contents, protect belongings, and document time spent.
• Remove vapor barriers and install injection and directed drying systems as needed.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property and maintain safety.
