Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is hiring a field technician in the United States for mitigation support. You will operate under supervision to pump water, extract moisture, and remove mold, using a range of specialized equipment and follow MSDS safety protocols.

You’ll set up drying equipment, build containment, install Injectidry/Directed-In/Octi-Dry systems, and maintain vehicles and tools. Travel, night and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify products (consumables), usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean and ready for use.
• Execute water pumping, extraction and mold remediation tasks under supervision.
• Build containment systems using appropriate calculations and equipment.
• Install Injectidry, Directed-In and Octi-Dry systems and manage airflow.
• Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions and remove debris safely.
• Maintain accurate time logs and report equipment usage and consumables.
• Attend operations and security training as required.
• Travel and work nights or weekends as needed.
