Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Technician to provide operational support in mitigation efforts. Responsibilities include pumping, extracting water, and mold remediation using specialized equipment under supervision, as part of the level 2 progression in BELFOR's program.

Candidates must follow MSDS protocols, perform vehicle safety inspections, and demonstrate use of extraction and drying tools. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify products (consumables), usage and disposal requirements.
• Knowledge of pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintain clean, operable condition.
• Operate and calibrate extraction and drying equipment under supervision.
• Build containment using Neg Air and HEPA vacuum.
• Install Injectidry, Directed-In, and Octi-Dry systems under supervision.
• Dispose of debris properly and protect client belongings.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards to safeguard property.
