Job summary

BELFOR Holdings Inc. is seeking a field technician to provide operational support in water damage mitigation in the Orlando, FL area. The role includes pumping, extracting water, mold remediation, and installing drying equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include following team leader instructions, performing vehicle safety checks, and maintaining equipment while ensuring proper containment and safety practices. Strong English communication and a professional attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR's vehicle policy.
• Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from team leader and follow MSDS protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean.
• Operate and maintain BELFOR water extraction equipment as supervised.
• Build containment systems using appropriate equipment (Neg Air, HEPA vacuum).
• Remove vapor barriers, label recoverable cuttings and install drying systems (Injectidry, Directed-In, Octi-Dry).
• Protect client property and belongings during mitigation tasks.
• Adhere to safety standards and training sessions, including security and weather-related schedules.
