Job summary

BKF Engineers seeks a Business Sector Lead of Water Resources to drive strategic growth, client partnerships, and financial performance across service areas. You will align the Water Resources sector with BKF's goals and collaborate with market, regional, and functional leaders to elevate the firm’s position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years leading complex Water Resources projects.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record in growth, profitability and KPI-driven management.
• Strong business development and client relationship capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; master's preferred.
• Willingness to travel to support regional offices and sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan for Water Resources.
• Lead a team, mentor staff, and drive succession planning.
• Own the P&L and guide pricing, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Shape go-to-market strategies and major pursuit plans.
• Provide project oversight and ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and reputation.
