Job summary

BKF Engineers in California seeks a Business Sector Lead of Water Resources to provide strategic leadership, drive market growth, and ensure excellence in project delivery across water resources services.

You will report to the Executive Vice President of Infrastructure Solutions, guide the P&L for all service areas, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary leaders to elevate BKF’s market position in public and private sectors. Significant travel to regional offices and project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years leading complex projects in Water Resources.
• Senior leadership experience required with P&L ownership.
• Strong strategic planning and organizational leadership.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan for Water Resources.
• Lead and grow the Water Resources sector across service areas.
• Own the P&L and drive revenue growth, backlog, and margins.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team; oversee resource allocation.
• Collaborate with market, regional, and functional leaders to elevate BKF’s position.
• Represent BKF at industry events and with public/private clients.
