Job summary

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering, is seeking a Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager in Minneapolis/Plymouth to support client management, project delivery, and technical work in water resources.

The role requires a PE or near-term licensure, 6+ years’ experience, and a strong background in hydrology, hydraulics, and project management. Travel to sites and client meetings is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months; MN/ND licensure at minimum.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience; prior consulting experience preferred; project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and internal staff.
• Lead design and permitting processes; prepare reports, drawings, and bid documents.
• Supervise project staff and provide guidance and training.
