Job summary

HNTB is seeking a highly creative and motivated Engineering Project Manager with water resources experience to lead project design. The role focuses on local and statewide municipal projects and DOT clients, with opportunities to support other disciplines firmwide.

You will manage projects through full lifecycle, develop scopes and proposals, oversee budgets and schedules, mentor staff, and coordinate with cross-discipline teams to deliver quality work on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations, assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Manage project team to deliver scope, schedule and budgets to client’s satisfaction.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan; supervise and mentor team.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

8 years of relevant experience

2 years task management or Deputy PM experience
