Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering Project Manager I with a focus on water resources to lead project design and delivery for municipal and DOT clients. The role covers scope development, technical reviews, and contract negotiations while coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

This is an on-site opportunity supporting multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a ABET-accredited engineering degree and eight years’ relevant experience, including two years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design and manage full lifecycle of municipal and state water projects.
• Develop scope and technical sections of proposals and procurement documents.
• Coordinate with cross-discipline teams and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Guide project teams, budgets, schedules, and quality to meet client satisfaction.
• Support business development and client relationships for strategic projects.
