Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a highly capable Engineering Project Manager focused on water resources to lead project design and delivery. The role spans local and statewide municipal and DOT projects, with opportunities to support other disciplines firmwide.

You will manage full lifecycle projects, develop scopes and proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining client satisfaction. Leadership and cross-discipline coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.
• PE certification and advanced engineering credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope, fee quotations, and technical proposals per SCA.
• Serve as primary client liaison to deliver scope, schedule and budget.
• Lead development and execution of the project management plan.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, and performance reviews.
• Manage project delivery using SDA and monitor risk and change.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise team members.
