Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a seasoned Water Resources Market Sector Leader for the South Central Region to guide business strategy and major client engagements across multiple states including Texas and Louisiana.

Reporting to Market Sector leadership, you will drive growth, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor staff while collaborating with regional and national leadership to advance HDR’s water resources services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an architecture, engineering, planning or related field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in water resources planning/engineering, client development, and project management.
• Professional engineering registration (PE) in the Central region is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of business strategies across the South Central Region.
• Interface with Regional Business Group leadership, client managers, and market sector directors.
• Drive market sector growth, client management, and project delivery excellence.
• Develop relationships with key clients and industry associations to expand HDR’s market position.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and talent development within the market sector.
