American Water in Greenwood, IN seeks a Lead Engineering Project Manager (Water Resources) to oversee delivery of major capital investments from inception to completion. You will lead a team, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with Operations and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in water resources project delivery, a relevant engineering degree, and PMP/EIT certifications. Travel and field coordination are possible as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years’ experience in project delivery of major water resources projects.
• Engineer-in-training (EIT) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications strongly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Aufgaben

• Monitoring and managing budgets and schedules for several large and complex Capital Investment Projects and programs of moderate scope and complexity.
• Driving efficiency into project delivery through the monitoring of delivery metrics and pursuit of more effective delivery and procurement approaches.
• Delivery of assigned Capital Projects in accordance with CIM system policies to meet asset needs.
• Asset Owner satisfaction in accordance with the scope of work for each project.
• Interacts with Operations personnel to ensure project delivery meets operations needs and coordinates with operations on operational impacts.
• Interacts with internal stakeholders and external governmental agencies to coordinate land acquisition, easements, rights of ways, permits, certificates, and other project approvals.
