American Water seeks an Engineer, Project Delivery to steer water and wastewater projects from concept to completion. You will design, plan, and manage pipelines, treatment facilities, and pumping stations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires collaboration with consulting engineers, contractors and technicians, with up to 20% travel across sites and offices. A valid driver’s license and EIT or relevant experience are preferred.

Formación

• EIT or 2–4 years’ experience in engineering design, planning, construction, project delivery and/or project management.
• Understanding of water and wastewater facilities and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting consulting engineers, contractors, technicians, and CAD operators.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and within scope and budget.
• Establish project budgets and scope.
• Develop detailed plans, designs and specs for water/wastewater infrastructure projects (pipelines, treatment plants, pumping stations).
• Perform system capacity evaluations and analysis of water sources, treatment, pumping and distribution.
• Support multiple small to medium projects across planning, design or construction.
• Translate technical concepts into feasible engineering approaches.
• Assist in pre-qualification and selection of consultants and contractors.
