Agha Engineering LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) to join our Water Resources Group. You will support hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, modeling, floodplain and detention design under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

The role focuses on water resources projects for public and private clients, with opportunities to gain FE exam experience and advance toward licensure; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree.
• FE cert within 6 months and EIT status.
• 2+ years in Water Resources, Hydrology, or Hydraulics.
• Valid TX driver’s license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with TxDOT/County/City of Houston is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling for water resources projects.
• Apply established engineering procedures and design criteria under supervision of a PE.
• Assist with planning, preliminary design and project development; support detailed design as needed.
• Perform quantity calculations.
• Coordinate and assist with permitting with authorities.
• Support drainage design and technical deliverables.
• Review work prepared by others as directed.
• Prepare/review scope of work for proposals, focusing on drainage tasks.
• Engage with clients in project meetings.
