Job summary

Stantec is seeking an entry-level Water Resources EIT to join our team. The role involves working on smaller projects and assisting senior engineers under close supervision.

You will help evaluate, specify and engineer systems, participate in field activities, and contribute to hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and geospatial data tasks. Under supervision, you will assist in civil design preparation, calculations, reports and meetings, with opportunities to grow within a multidisciplinary team on

Qualifications

• Entry-level civil engineer working under supervision.
• Ability to assist with basic calculations and field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of hydraulics, surveying and geotechnical concepts to support project work.
• Assist in creation of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and accompanying geospatial data.
• Assist team in preparing civil designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports.
• Conduct basic calculations and perform duties under supervision of a project engineer.
• May perform field work related to pilot and construction activities.
• Assist in supporting the civil team with submittal reviews and RFIs.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
