Job summary

Kleinfelder's Water Resources team in Texas is seeking an Entry Level EIT to support hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and BMPs on diverse projects. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, analysis, and design while collaborating with experienced engineers.

You will use industry-standard software such as ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM, and InfoWorks ICM to deliver innovative solutions that protect and enhance the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Passing score on the FE exam (or ability to pass in first six months).
• Exposure to water resources design and analysis is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project professionals with analysis, design, and technical tasks across multiple water resources projects.
• Ask questions and seek knowledge from team members to apply the best approach and parameter selections.
• Seek direction on deadlines and time allotted for completion of tasks.
• Develop an understanding of the effort required and reasoning for use of differing approaches.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality work and identify issues before proceeding.
• Track and complete concurrent tasks while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.
• Stay current in understanding the practice of engineering through continuing education.
