Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer-In-Training to join our geotechnical team in Austin, San Antonio, or Houston. You will support hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, and BMPs, using ArcGIS Pro, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM, and InfoWorks ICM to deliver resilient solutions for communities.

You will learn from experienced engineers, collaborate across disciplines, and gain hands-on experience in planning, analysis, and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• FE exam passing score (or ability to pass within six months).

Responsibilities

• Assist project professionals with analysis, design, and tasks across water resources projects.
• Ask questions and seek knowledge from team members to apply the best approach.
• Track deadlines and time allotted for completion of tasks.
• Develop understanding of effort required and reasoning for approaches.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality work before proceeding.
• Maintain attention to detail while managing concurrent tasks and deadlines.
