Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team. You will apply hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support land development projects and deliver sustainable designs.

Responsibilities include leading design tasks, supporting cost estimates, and coordinating with teams. A BS in engineering and PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, plus 5+ years of water resources experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years of water resources design and analysis experience.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools listed.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management and drainage design for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance on hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design.
• Independently manage hydrologic/hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in field work as needed.
