Job summary

HDR is hiring a Project Controls Business Class Lead for its Water Business Group. The role focuses on developing and implementing project controls practices to ensure scope, schedule, and budget performance across water-related projects such as wastewater, dams, levees, and drinking water.

You will lead a team of project controls professionals, advance PMIS tools, mentor staff, and collaborate with directors to share best practices and drive project success for HDR’s water programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project controls on engineering and construction projects.
• Ability to manage proposal preparation, contract review and negotiation, client relationship and win strategy for EPC projects.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls practices across HDR Water Group to ensure scope, schedule and budget performance.
• Develop and implement PMIS and tools, and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other directors to share best practices.
• Provide comprehensive project performance summaries to HDR and clients.
