Job summary

The City of Winters is seeking a dedicated Water Operator to join our Public Works team. This essential role monitors wells and treatment systems, repairs infrastructure, conducts inspections and testing, and supports safe drinking water delivery.

The successful candidate will hold a Class C Surface Water or Distribution License and a valid state-issued driver license, and be proficient with SCADA software.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class C Surface Water or Distribution License.
• Must have a valid state issued driver's license.
• The ideal candidate will be skilled in customer service.
• The ideal candidate will be proficient in SCADA software.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs/ladders, work inside confined spaces and work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
