Job summary

The City of Webster's Public Works Department is seeking a Water Operator to ensure the efficient operation of the city's water supply. The role involves operating and monitoring water plants and distribution systems, plus maintenance of facilities and interface with City staff and residents.

Minimum qualifications include 1-3 years of relevant experience, a valid Texas Class C Water Operator license, and a Texas driver’s license; a Class C Wastewater license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Class 'C' Water Operator License from TCEQ.
• Valid Texas Class 'C' Driver's License.
• Preferred Class 'C' Wastewater Operator License from TCEQ.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor City water plants and distribution systems.
• Perform maintenance on water plants and distribution systems.
• Inspect new construction and interface with City staff and citizens.
