1-800 Water Damage of Western Montana is seeking a Water Mitigation professional in Westlake Village, California. This role requires at least 1 year of experience with a strong knowledge of MICA software and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include performing emergency service calls, updating job sites, and supporting invoicing. The position starts part-time but will transition to a full-time role, with bonuses available based on performance. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are essential.

Responsibilities

• Be on call to arrive at emergency service calls and scope water mitigation jobs, entering all information into MICA.
• Perform the emergency services required.
• Review the job scope with the 1‑800 Water Damage owner to ensure optimal equipment utilization.
• Support invoicing to TPA or Adjuster and collaborate with them to secure payment.
• Take proper pictures to support the scope of work and upload them to the correct software (including Docusketch Camara).
• Visit job sites for moisture readings, update MICA daily, and ensure data uploads to TPA software within scheduled time allowances.
• Consult with TPA and Adjusters to keep jobs moving forward promptly.
• Handle emergency water loss calls and perform the necessary work.
• During the second phase, lead the labor crew as needed if laborers are available.
• Work with one TPA and anticipate adding two more this month.
• Maintain a professional appearance and be in uniform.
• Be punctual and available for after‑hours emergency calls, rotating with other staff.
• Pass a background check.
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Work with TPA and Adjusters to obtain approvals and discuss findings to support invoicing.
• Adapt to schedule changes as workload shifts, remaining flexible.
• Current schedule is part‑time but will transition to full‑time; a supervisor position is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in water mitigation.
• Knowledge of MICA software.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $32.00, plus bonuses.
