Reporting Line

This position reports to the Water Market Leader.

Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Mission Statement: Responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within the municipal and industrial water markets in the Midwest Region, aligning with our strategy. Build long-term customer relationships, address specific customer needs, identify and develop sales opportunities, and grow this vital market year over year.
2. Work Model: The role is primarily remote. #LI-remote
3. Division: Contributing to the Process Automation, Measurement, and Analytics Division in the Midwest.
4. Key Accountabilities:

• Communicate delivery times, payments, and general terms to customers, aligned with ABB's offerings and strategy.
• Implement effective marketing activities and communicate our value proposition to customers.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities in the designated region.
• Support administrative procedures in sales processes, including cash collection and project management when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in flow, level, pressure, or continuous water analysis solutions within the water industry.
• Existing relationships in the industry to generate new sales opportunities for ABB.
• Ability to develop and execute structured sales processes and strategies to improve efficiency and success.
• Strong competitor knowledge; passion for selling and winning.
• Customer-focused approach, understanding their needs, goals, and how they operate.
• Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
