Position Overview

This position reports to the Water Market Leader. The role involves sales of products, systems, and services within the municipal and industrial water markets in the Midwest Region, aligned with our strategy. Building long-term customer relationships, resolving customer issues, identifying new sales opportunities, and growing this vital market year over year are key responsibilities.

Work Model

The work model for this role is remote. #LI-remote

This role contributes to the Process Automation, Measurement, and Analytics Division in the Midwest.

Main Responsibilities

1. Communicate delivery times, payments, and terms in line with ABB's offerings and strategy.
2. Implement effective marketing activities and communicate value propositions to customers.
3. Identify and develop new market opportunities.
4. Manage administrative sales procedures and support cash collection and project management as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with flow, level, pressure, or continuous water analysis solutions in the water industry.
• Existing industry relationships to generate new opportunities.

• Strong competitor knowledge and a passion for sales.
• Focus on end users' needs and how they buy, maintain, and partner with suppliers.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
