Reporting To

Water Market Leader

Your Role and Responsibilities

Mission Statement: Responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within the municipal and industrial water market in our Midwest Region, aligned with our strategy. Build long-term customer relationships, address specific customer needs and issues, identify and develop sales opportunities, and grow this vital market year over year.

The work model for this role is remote. #LI-remote

This role contributes to the Process Automation, Measurement, and Analytics Division in the Midwest.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Communicating delivery details, payments, and general terms and conditions to customers, in line with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  2. Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities in the designated area.
  4. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with knowledge of flow, level, pressure, and continuous water analysis solutions within the water industry.
  • Existing industry relationships to generate new selling opportunities for ABB.
  • Ability to develop and implement structured sales processes and strategies to improve efficiency and contribute to a winning team.
  • Strong competitor knowledge and a passion for selling and winning.
  • Focus on end users—understanding their needs, goals, how they buy, maintain equipment, and partner with suppliers.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users, from field personnel to executive management.
