Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Experienced Project Manager for the Water Department to own capital projects from planning through commissioning. You will supervise contractors and coordinate with Operations, EHS, and Finance to deliver reliable, sustainable water infrastructure for the fab.

The role focuses on shaping capital-planning, prioritizing investments, and mentoring future PMs in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum six years of progressive engineering and project management experience.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments, preferably process-focused with pumps, piping, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of major water infrastructure capital projects from planning through commissioning.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate activities with operations to minimize impact on water system reliability and customer service.
• Monitor progress to meet milestones, budget targets, and quality standards.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure clear communication with internal/external partners.
• Review documentation, reports, and change orders; conduct site visits and progress meetings.
