Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead and manage critical projects supporting operations and IWT improvements. You will oversee the site Consultant Design Team to develop, review, and approve mechanical specifications and design packages for commercial and process systems, and supervise Construction General Contractor activities for new and retrofit construction.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in an Engineering environment, preferably within Design or Operations.
• Working knowledge of general water treatment technologies and/or processes.
• Minimum 4 years chemical/mechanical design and project experience in an industrial setting. Semiconductor fab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project scope across Samsung water systems, including cost control and reporting.
• Oversee mechanical systems planning for new and retrofit construction.
• Develop, review, and approve construction specs for mechanical piping, equipment, and buildings.
• Provide guidance to contracted design teams during facility construction design.
