Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Project Manager for the Water Department to own the full lifecycle of capital projects from design to hand‑over. You will lead engineering and construction contractors and coordinate with Production, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Finance teams to deliver reliable, sustainable water‑treatment facilities for the fab.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, industrial or other related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum six years of progressive experience in engineering and project management.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments preferably in a process environment including pumps, piping, process equipment, and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of major water infrastructure capital projects from planning, design through construction and commissioning.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate project activities with operations staff to minimize impacts to water system reliability and customer service.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, budget targets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Lead stakeholder engagement efforts and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners.
• Review and approve project documentation, engineering reports, contract documents, and change orders.
• Conduct site visits, progress inspections, and project meetings to ensure successful execution.
• Provide leadership in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects that support the department's strategic objectives and long‑term sustainability.
