Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Project Manager for the Water Department to own the full lifecycle of capital water infrastructure projects—from concept through commissioning and handover. You will supervise engineering and construction contractors and coordinate with Production, Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and Finance teams to deliver reliable, sustainable water systems for the fab.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum six years of progressive experience in engineering and project management.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments with pumps, piping, process equipment and controls.
• Experience in Semiconductor or high-technology environments preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of major water infrastructure capital projects from planning through commissioning.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and procurement strategies.
• Coordinate project activities with operations to minimize impacts to water system reliability.
• Monitor progress, milestones, budgets and quality.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and communicate with internal/external partners.
• Review and approve project documents, reports, contracts and change orders.
• Conduct site visits, progress inspections and project meetings.
• Provide leadership in delivering complex infrastructure projects supporting strategic objectives.
