Job summary
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable, safe, and cost‑effective operation of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems in its industrial wastewater and UPW plants. You will lead a multi‑disciplinary team, drive PM/PdM programs, and manage capital upgrades while ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will act as technical authority for troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives that maximize plant availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment systems and/or UPW treatment systems.
- Proficiency with CMMS and reliability practices.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies for pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, RO/EDI systems, dosing equipment, and utilities.
- Drive capital-project management including scope, budget, procurement, and commissioning upgrades.
- Conduct FMEA/RCA and implement reliability improvements to reduce downtime.
