Job summary

Capstone Copper Corp. is seeking a Project Manager II – Water Management at Pinto Valley Mine to lead capital and sustaining projects that safeguard water balance and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with Tailings, Engineering, Operations, and field teams to deliver reliable water systems.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience in mining environments, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractor performance while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in mining or industrial environments.
• Experience managing capital projects in a mine site preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead water infrastructure projects including pipelines, pump stations, storage, reclaim systems, stormwater controls, and distribution infrastructure.
• Ensure projects meet water system performance targets and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Tailings Governance & Engineering, Tailings & Water Operations to align plans with deposition needs.
• Manage planning, scope, cost estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple projects.
• Oversee contractor performance, procurement, and change management throughout project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and project team members; foster a safety-first culture.
