Job summary

Capstone Copper is seeking a Project Manager II for Pinto Valley Mine in Arizona. The role drives small to medium CapEx and OpEx projects, from justification through procurement, construction, and completion, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, safety, and quality targets are met.

Responsibilities include developing charters, AFEs, and safety plans, coordinating engineers and contractors, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of project management experience.
• Preferred PMP certification, Engineering in Training (EIT), multidisciplinary civil/mechanical experience, PE license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure MSHA safety compliance and site policies.
• Develop Project Charters, AFEs, Scope of Work, forecasts, and safety plans.
• Coordinate engineering and construction activities with internal and external teams.
• Lead bid walks, evaluate bids, and assist in bid awards.
• Provide project management for capital projects, monitoring cost, schedule, and scope.
• Oversee engineering and construction efforts, ensuring safety and quality.
• Support cost control, budgeting, and documentation management.
• Maintain project reporting and document control.
