Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is seeking an experienced Engineer to provide engineering, project management, and documentation support for tailings facilities and related projects. The role involves facilities planning, project execution, document control, and cross‑functional collaboration with contractors and internal teams.

The position requires at least 3+ years in mining/heavy civil and a civil/geotechnical/mining engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mining or heavy civil industry.
• Experience with MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of PV safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines.
• Manage and monitor engineering tasks and budgets.
• Oversee project budgets and expense tracking; provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; document decisions.
• Maintain and expand the engineering documentation system and CAD documents.
• Produce technical reports and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
