Capstone Copper is seeking a Supervisor – Tailings and Water to oversee TSF deposition and site water management at Pinto Valley, AZ. You will supervise personnel and contractors, coordinate with engineering, and ensure safe, compliant operations with a focus on reliability of pump houses and water systems.

The role emphasizes teamwork, planning, and continuous improvement in tailings and water operations, with field-heavy responsibilities and a balance of office activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervision/leadership in mining or heavy industry.
• Deep knowledge of tailings operations and water management.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating contractors.
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tailings deposition and water management activities.
• Supervise personnel and contractors, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering to develop TSF deposition plans.
• Maintain knowledge of pump house operations and water systems.
• Plan, schedule and execute project readiness and field work.
• Investigate, document, and report incidents in a timely manner.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team; manage contractor performance.
• Support continuous improvement in tailings and water operations.
