Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is seeking a Project Manager II to oversee small to medium CapEx/OpEx projects at the Pinto Valley Mine. You will develop charters, AFEs, and safety plans, coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, and report progress to leadership while ensuring scope, cost, and schedule are met.

Role requires 3+ years PM experience, knowledge of SAP, and a solid grasp of safety and quality standards in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years project management experience.
• Ability to coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Experience using SAP.
• Strong knowledge of MSHA safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: adhere to MSHA rules and site policies.
• Project Development: justify projects, create charters and safety plans.
• Engineering Coordination: work with third parties on engineering solutions.
• Contractor Management: manage bids and supplier relations.
• Project Management: monitor cost, schedule, scope, and requirements.
• Construction Oversight: supervise field activities and safety.
• Quality Control: ensure designs and specs are followed.
