Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Water Heating Systems Sales Technician to blend hands-on technical work with solution-oriented selling for both residential and commercial customers.

You will advise, recommend, and sell replacements, perform safe installations to code, diagnose issues, and use AI-powered coaching to improve your close rate while maintaining clean, organized job sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of field experience (plumbing preferred).
• Comfort asking for the sale; strong communication with customers.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Advise, recommend, and sell water heater replacements, filtration add-ons, and upgrades during service visits.
• Close sales through transparent options, pricing, and value communication.
• Install gas, electric, and tankless units safely and to code; diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Apply AI-powered sales coaching tools to analyze calls and strengthen selling skills.
• Educate customers on efficiency, performance, and total lifecycle value.
• Manage truck inventory, complete accurate job documentation, and maintain clean work areas.
• Partner with dispatch and installers to ensure timely completion.
• Support emergency calls with overtime as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
