Job summary

ServiceMaster by Twins 2996 is seeking a Water/Fire Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect, and complete restoration tasks. You will prepare documentation, photos, and notes to support insurance reimbursements and explain restoration steps to customers in person using printed materials.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and strong verbal/written communication and customer service skills. Prior restoration experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in restoration or construction preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with using mobile software to enter data.
• Certifications are not required but preferred: WTR and ASD.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves work orders and checks route for travel; ensures equipment and supplies are loaded for the job.
• Explains processes to customers in person using printed materials as a guide.
• Completes assigned jobs according to company processes with quality control.
• Performs water damage repair including extraction, pack-out, disposal, light construction, and demo as directed.
• Ensures equipment and vehicles are properly handled and reports issues to supervisor.
• Inspects jobs after completion, obtains customer signatures, and requests payments when needed.
• Monitors daily progress on water jobs for residential/commercial clients.
• Adjusts the drying plan based on meter readings.
