Job summary

ServiceMaster by Haven Restoration Group is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to support drying, demolition and restoration tasks. You will prepare and review documentation, explain processes to customers, and ensure proper care of equipment and safety procedures on site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work with mobile data entry tools. Training and uniforms are provided as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record and valid license.
• Experience in restoration or construction is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with mobile software for data entry.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Punctuality and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves work orders and ensures required equipment and supplies are loaded for the job.
• Explains restoration steps and next actions to customers using printed materials when needed.
• Completes assigned jobs per company procedures while maintaining quality control.
• Performs water extraction, packing out contents, and light demolition as directed.
• Reports equipment issues to supervisor and ensures proper handling of tools and vehicles.
• Inspects completed jobs, obtains customer signatures, and facilitates payment collection as needed.
• Monitors progress on water jobs with urgency for residential and/or commercial clients.
• Adjusts the drying plan daily based on meter readings.
• Communicates customer issues and daily activity to supervisor and staff.
• Prepares documentation and photos to support insurance reimbursements.
