Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Ownership is seeking a maintenance engineer to handle guest repair requests and maintain pool, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and supervise junior engineers while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires 4–6 years hands-on experience with large pools and water features, a valid CPO, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years hands-on experience operating large swimming pools and water features.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics for MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and address maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment and facilities.
• Inspect and operate pool equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Train and mentor other engineers and assume Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
• Follow safety policies and use Lockout/Tagout as required.
