Job summary

Veolia in New Jersey seeks a Water Distribution Technician to operate and maintain the water distribution system, respond to alarms, and support valves, hydrants, and meters. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 3+ years of water distribution experience, plus a NJ license (W1) preferred and CDL-B as a plus.

You will work outdoors and indoors in operational environments, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance while providing backup support to other NJ

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in water distribution operations.
• NJ Driver's license required; CDL class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water distribution systems and related equipment.
• Respond to alarms, service requests, and customer concerns promptly.
• Perform meter readings, readings changes, and data documentation.
• Assist with hydrants, valves, and pipe installation as needed.
