Veolia North America seeks a Water Distribution Technician to maintain and operate water distribution assets across active job sites. The role includes repairs, installations, and on-site support in varying weather conditions, with a focus on safety and compliance.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma/GED, relevant construction exposure, and a valid Class A CDL; Idaho DWD Class II license or the ability to obtain within 1 year is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven construction experience with water utility pipelines.
• CDL Class A with endorsements required or ability to obtain.
• Idaho Drinking Water Distribution Class II license or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Maintains water distribution system by repairing, tapping and installing mains and service lines, and maintaining valves and hydrants.
• Performs excavation restoration in grass, sidewalks, roads and easements.
• Carpentry, painting and plumbing as necessary to support operations.
• Conducts flow tests, leak surveys, line locations, and field water quality tests.
• Obtains water samples and delivers them to the lab for analysis.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed.
