Qualifications

• Geographical knowledge of the service area and distribution system.
• Ability to interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics and maps.
• Understand safety practices, regulations and company policies.
• Proficiency with company computer systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and control safe use of equipment and personnel.
• Locate, access, operate, and repair mains, hydrants, services and valves.
• Diagnose hydraulic variations and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform distribution tests and completion of house-to-house connections.
• Mark-out company facilities and coordinate with other utilities.
• Restore service and prepare facilities for adverse weather conditions.
