Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks an operator to support water distribution systems, performing installation, maintenance, and repair of mains, hydrants, meters, and related equipment.

You will read meters, collect samples, monitor facilities, and respond to service requests while following safety procedures and regulatory requirements. A high school diploma and 3+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of water distribution experience.
• Ability to read and record meter readings; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of water mains, hydrants, valves, and meters.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain water distribution facilities and related equipment.
• Perform leak inspections and assist with leak detection and repair activities.
• Read and record meter and service data; complete associated forms and reports.
• Respond to alarms, customer requests, and on-call rotations as directed.
