Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is hiring a Utility Technician to support water distribution and wastewater collection systems. You will perform maintenance, repair, and meter reading, while providing customer service and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days. On-site work and potential travel to sites are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL must be attained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled installation, maintenance and repair of valves, meters, gauges, pumps, and related equipment.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment per procedures.
• Read meters and document work activities; close work orders as needed.
• Maintain safety policies and housekeeping at facilities.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
