The City of Tigard is seeking a Water Distribution Technician to maintain and repair the water distribution system, including mains, hydrants, meters, and service lines.

Responsibilities include flushing mains, exercising valves, and responding to after-hours emergencies while following safety protocols. A valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and Oregon water distribution license are required or obtainable within designated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Completion of the 12th grade or equivalent with two years related experience.
• Ability to perform physical duties and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, and repair water distribution infrastructure including service lines, hydrants, meters.
• Flush water mains and exercise valves; inspect service for code compliance.
• Respond to afterhours emergencies as needed; observe safety protocols.
