Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to head the water damage team for residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC standard practices, operate and maintain extraction and moisture equipment, and document moisture and losses. Intermediaries help develop entry-level technicians and manage multiple losses.

Responsibilities include directing teams, ensuring PPE usage, reviewing progress, and producing field docs. Travel and night/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor and direct the teams.
• Use appropriate PPE and ensure safety compliance.
• Review project requirements, document progress and report challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photos, and sketches for projects.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily.
